K.G. Westman is a renowned sitar and surbahar player, one of Europe's leading figures in North Indian classical music.

About KG Westman K.G. Westman is a leading sitar and surbahar player in North Indian classical music, known for his performances across India, Europe, the USA, Russia, and more. A senior disciple of Pandit Rabindra Narayan Goswami, he is also a skilled teacher and conductor of workshops. Westman is one of the founders of the Stockholm Sangeet Festival, Scandinavia's premier event for Indian classical music and dance. His musical journey began in 1996 when his father moved to Kerala, and he later studied sitar with notable teachers before becoming a disciple of Goswami in 2006. Westman has released several albums, including Sonashish (2017), KG Westman &amp; Za عfaran (2022), and Anandpriya (2023), the first Indian classical LP by a Swede. About Mihir Kundu Guru Mihir is a distinguished tabla player who initially trained under Shri Sabyasachi Sengupta and later with tabla maestro Pt. Sankha Chatterjee, embracing the traditions of the Farukhabad, Punjab, and Delhi Gharanas. A regular performer on All India Radio and Doordarshan, he has received prestigious awards, including the Jadubhatta Award from Saltlake Cultural Association (Kolkata) and the Talmani Award from Sursinger Samsad (Mumbai). Guru Mihir is a Tabla master tutor at SIFAS. KG Westman will be presenting melodious pieces on the sitar, accompanied by the lively beats of the tabla presented by Guru Mihir Kundu.
