35 Years of Formation Records What a treat to kick off 2025! We are delighted to honour an iconic label that pioneered the sound of jungle and drum &amp; bass, with a truly stunning lineup of all-star headliners. GrooveriderAsk anyone in bass music what first inspired them to make music and Grooverider's name is sure to crop up. Not only has he notched up an incredible decades-long career behind the decks, DJing everywhere from dingy illegal warehouse parties to huge outdoor festivals, but his legendary radio shows with longtime companion Fabio (first for Kiss FM and now Radio One FM) helped spread the gospel of drum'n'bass further and further afield. As resident at seminal London night Rage throughout its four year stint at Heaven, he personally oversaw dance music's evolution from acid house to techno and finally drum'n'bass. As of 2025, Grooverider remains at the forefront of the scene and is delighted to play his first ever Singapore show.DJSSSS is short for Scratchenstein, which is a name he used when he was a hip hop scratch DJ, and a part of the hip hop act, The Formation Five, whose name inspired the name of his record label. Originally a breakdancer, DJ Stratchenstein began playing electro music as a teenager in the early 1980s. He then played hip hop and rare groove before turning to producing in 1988 initially acid house, hardcore, breakbeat and finally drum and bass tracks. SS got his big break DJing at the big British raves of the early 1990s such as Telepathy. Since then he has gone on to DJ worldwide, as well as running the legendary Formation Records label, and hugely successful World of Drum n Bass events around the world.INJA Inja – the massively versatile artist with a love for cooking and wordplay. Known for hyping crowds across any and every style of music from jazz to drum and bass and everything inbetween. When solo, Inja provides the ‘Page to a Rave’ show where anything goes from poetry, reggae, hiphop, grime, drum and bass and anything that brings vibes. The show is known for bass tears laughter dancing and smiles.As well as running creative writing workshops, he hosts for the DMC World Championships, the legendary DJ Die and his two time Redbull Cultureclash winning Gutterfunk label as well as regular features with hip hop-reggae inspired, DJ Vadim.A resident host to Warning and Hospitality drum and bass events across the UK and EU, you may also see Inja at a wide variety of poetry and music events and festivals across the UK and worldwide, working with a huge range of beautiful music bringing a smile to your face and some bass to your cheeks.Felon MCFelz emerged from the UK Garage and Drum &amp; Bass movements in the late 00s to win the Best Breakthrough MC Award 2014, and then catapulting himself to be a stalwart of the scene. Felon is much in demand across the world for his snarling urban poetry and has hosted the Mic Control over most luminaries including Goldie, Matrix &amp; Futurebound, Danny Byrd, Hype, Hazard, G-Dub, Fabio &amp; Grooverider, as well as guest artist work with SubZero. He holds residencies with Slammin Vinyl One Nation, Innovation, Enter &amp; Drumfunk &amp; Now recently Nass Festival, and in this part of the world, last MCd in Singapore at the 30 Years of V Recordings show in 2024.
