Post-rock veterans This Will Destroy You return to Singapore after 10 years, celebrating their 20th Anniversary. The band (Jeremy Galindo, Johnnie McBryde, Nicholas Huft, Ethan Billips) will be performing their S/T album in full + classics, with support from 7nightsatsea.
This Will Destroy You (TWDY) is an American post-rock band formed in 2004 in San Marcos, Texas. The original lineup consisted of guitarists Jeremy Galindo and Christopher Royal King, bassist Raymond Brown, and drummer Andrew Miller.
Throughout their career, TWDY has released several acclaimed albums, including "Young Mountain" (2006), "S/T" (2008), and "Another Language" (2014). Symmetry had the pleasure of bringing in the band in 2013 for 2 sold out shows at Home Club, quickly returning 2 years later for a performance at Zouk.
In August 2024, TWDY announced a significant change: founding members Galindo and King decided to pursue separate creative paths, each leading distinct lineups under the same band name. Galindo's lineup includes Johnnie McBryde, Nicholas Huft, and Ethan Billips, this iteration feature in Singapore on April 18 at Phil Studio, performing their 2008 behemoth "S/T" album in full + other classics.
