Exit Records UK head-honcho, dBridge, headlines RASA's weekender Sunday feature hosted by Revision Music

Since innovating on the rapidly evolving sound of jungle/drum and bass in the mid-to-late nineties and early 2000s, dBridge has pursued more diverse directions through his label, Exit Records. Championing artistry as a producer, dBridge's initial contributions to the genre offered left-field ideas for a sound that was phenomenally spreading across the world.

Exit Records grew from strength to strength over the following two decades as dBridge explored other tempos and deconstructed formulas within and outside of the genre, monumentally birthing the iconic Autonomic sound while welcoming innovators to the label with fresh takes on rhythm and sound such as his brother Steve Spacek, Fracture, Dub Phizix, Sinistarr, Skeptical, Kid Drama, Itoa, Dan Habarnam, Stray and Fixate. During this time, Exit Records steadily broke through cutting-edge electronic music inspired by techno, electro, footwork, jungle, dubstep, dancehall and hip-hop.

Unrivalled as a producer in his own right, dBridge has evolved as an artist along with his label. From essential remixes for Goldie’s Rufige Kru project and collaborations with Skream to unadulterated techno under his Velvit alias, dBridge draws a sonic timeline of the past, present, and future through the authenticity of ideas and music presented on his monthly Aptitude Show on Rinse FM, which showcases a range of sound unconfined by genre and defined by limitless style.

Prequel Tapes and dBridge’s ‘Ionize’ 2021 release on Singapore’s Midnight Shift label again cast all genres aside by outlaying classic EBM, futuristic UK bass and half-time, dubby 170bpm sub-frequency workouts, which showcases the depth and breadth of underground dance music as we know it today.

Along with global streaming features on HÖR Berlin and Boiler Room and off-the-cuff festival b2b DJ sets with Donato Dozzy and Ehua, it is no accident that Singapore’s latest and buzziest nightlife option, RASA, teams up with Revision Music to present dBridge for its weekender series on Sunday, March 30th.

Expect a night of unbridled electronic music exploration for all corners of the dancefloor on RASA’s TPI sound system, supported by Revision Music DJs Gahmen, Halia, Helios XL and RTJ.

Note: Please respect the people around you at the venue. We are all accountable for ensuring a safe space on the dance floor. We have a zero-tolerance policy on any form of discrimination or harassment.

Peace, love, unity and respect are the supreme orders in the dance!
