The Voices of Singapore Chorus of the People is our non-auditioned adult choir which consists of members from all walks of life and differing levels of music knowledge aiming to create a non-competitive and fun environment for choral singing. Embodying the community spirit of Singapore, the choir is known as the Chorus of the People, and its repertoire consists of a wide range of songs from contemporary to pop, sacred, jazz, musicals, and classical choral works. Anyone aged 18 and up who can hold a tune is welcome. Join us for an unforgettable musical journey! Chorus of the People (Female Chorus) Season 24 (2025 3rd Quarter) is a new choir and will only accept female singers. We kindly invite all male singers to sign up for the Mixed Chorus instead at https://tinyurl.com/MixedchorusS24 Season 24 (2025 3rd Quarter) will run from 3 July 2025 - 4 September 2025. Rehearsals are from 7:45pm-9:30pm on Thursdays. On 31 July 2025, there will be a break. Members participating in Season 24 (2025 3rd Quarter) will work towards the VOS Festival at CHIJMES on 10 September 2025. For all singers joining us for the first time in Season 24 (2025 3rd Quarter), we will be holding an induction session on Thursday, 3 July 2025 from 7:00pm-7:45pm. Registration closes on 21 June 2025, Saturday after which a late fee applies. Rehearsal VenuesRehearsals will mostly be conducted at Enabling Village, at 20 Lengkok Bahru, Singapore 159053. Support available for singers in need of financial assistanceThe Support-a-singer Fund is a pool of contributed funds that will go directly to supporting singers in the VOS Chorus of the People, or other choral groups at Voices of Singapore in need of financial assistance. If you would like to contribute any amount to this fund to share the joy of singing with others, please choose a "Support-a-singer" option that suits you when completing your registration.
