Singapore's Premier Jazz Jam led by Singapore's Top Highly-experienced Jazz Musicians and Highly-regarded mentors, features the city island's avid local and international jazz practitioners.
Conducted every 1st-3rd Tuesday of every month,from 8-1115 pm, jazz musicians - professional, semi-professional, amateur or hobbyist - gather to perform and enjoy an evening of jazz fellowship - sharing their on-the-spot musical solos, embellishing melodies, trading fours , exchanging musical ideas, with tunes taken from the enormous Jazz Anthology, celebrating and elevating this wonderful and exciting musical art form.
Led by senior, highly-experienced trio of musician-mentors who have taught and guided many of the younger generations of Singapore and Singapore-based jazz talents - Yvette Atienza as Host/Vocals, Mei Sheum on Piano, Joshua Wan on bass, and a guest Saxophone/Trumpet player, expect to relax and be moved and swayed by the exciting musical performances and interactions. The fun world of unpredictable musical expressions starts at 8 pm!
