August closes off with Parfait gracing MDLR on the 30th of August. The French DJ and producer found her footing by spinning in the alternative basements of Paris, playing at underground LGBT+ parties. Fast forward to 2019, she co-founded the collective Possession, of which she’s a resident of – going on to push her sound via Boiler Room appearances and gaining a reputation outside of Europe as well. Parfait has headlined clubs like London’s fabric, Brussels’ Fuse, and Chicago’s Smoke &amp; Mirrors. She’s also contributed tracks for compilation records by labels such as Deestricted and Teletech, as well as projects released under her label entitled Comme dans les films.
