Riaz Dhanani has certainly stepped things up a gear in the last year or two, after his successes on VIVa Limited, Elrow and Lost Records, and building on his incredible Number 1 ‘Rewind’that retained it’s chart spot for no less than 10 weeks in 2023.
2024 was followed up by a significant series of tracks which included 3 x Beatport Number 1 releases, receiving support from industry heavyweights such as Marco Carola, Joseph Capriati, Cloonee, Nicole Moudaber and Paco Osuna. ‘The Energy’, released on Osuna’s label rocketed to Number 1 and remains in Mindshake’s Top 5 all time best selling tracks. This, coupled with his earlier release ‘Let Me Know’, earnt Dhanani acoveted spot on Paco Osuna’s Nowhere residency at Hi Ibiza where he played in summer 2024. This attention also drew the eye of industry giants Ableton. Dhanani shared his tips and tricks with the tech legends in his interview titled “Deep Tech Mastery”; a real look inside how his success has been built in the studio.
A well renowned name on European lineups and wizard in thes tudio, Dhanani is also no stranger to the Asian scene; making appearances at notorious clubs Café del Mar Phuket, Bakarat Bangkok and Illuzion. Being based in Asia for a few months ofthe year is something that’s important for his growth, and something that will continue again in 2025. And that is not all that is planned for next year. Upcoming releases will include a new EP on Bandidos, another release on Mindshake and a return to world-renowned Knee Deep in Sou.
