What is Musical Mayhem?

Musical Mayhem is part mini-concert, part trivia night, and all theatre kid chaos. You’ll hear live performances of your favourite show tunes, then put your musical theatre knowledge to the test in trivia rounds in between.

Who is Alan Menken?

Alan Menken is the genius behind The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Newsies, Little Shop of Horrors, and so many more. Basically, if you grew up on Disney or Broadway, you know his music.

Question 3

How does the night work?

The evening is split into 3 x 15-minute concert sets, with trivia rounds in between. So you get to enjoy amazing live performances and battle your friends to see who’s the ultimate theatre nerd.

Do I need a team for trivia?

You can play solo or in a team . If you come alone, don’t worry — we’ll happily match you up with other lovely humans on the night.

What’s the vibe?

Casual, cosy, and a little chaotic. Grab a drink, cheer on your friends, sing along quietly (or loudly if you can’t help it), and enjoy the mayhem.

Can I bring kids?

The venue is at Blujaz Café (Level 3), which is a bar setting so the minimum age is 18.

Do I need to know a lot about musical theatre to enjoy it?

Not at all! The trivia has a mix of easy and tricky questions, and the concert sets are full of bangers. If you love Disney, Broadway, or just a fun night out, you’ll have a blast.

How long does it run?

About 2 hours, including intermissions and trivia rounds. Doors open at 7:15pm, show starts 7:30pm.

Will there be food and drinks?

Yes — Blujaz Café serves drinks and bites. We encourage  you to order throughout the night!
