Concert Series: NAFA Chorus

Under the direction of Lim Yau, the NAFA Chorus presents In the Beginning — a thoughtfully curated programme exploring choral expression across languages, styles, and eras.Featuring works by Vaughan Williams, Barber, Holst, Brahms, Wolf, Debussy, and Verdi, the programme moves from the vivid imagery of Shakespeare settings to lyrical part-songs and richly textured choral writing. From the elegance of French chanson to the warmth of Romantic harmony, the concert traces a journey through diverse sound worlds, culminating in Verdi’s Ave Maria, a work of quiet intensity and spiritual reflection.
