In Vol. 10, we'll use poetry as a medium to share perspectives on the topic "Inspiration is so Overrated". Ideas don’t come in flashes; they grow from everyday life.Waiting for inspiration to strike? Your first mistake!Inspiration is so Overrated debunks the myth that ideas arrive in a flash of genius. They do not. Instead, they arrive in the mess of everyday life: what you dream about, remember, read, research, observe and stumble upon by chance. This talk gives you tips in how to stay open, creative, curious and playful with ideas, and how to turn the mundane into insight. Free Admission *minimum 1 drink upon entry About our lecturerFelix Cheong is the bestselling author of 32 books across different genres, from poetry to fiction, from children's books to graphic novels. He won the National Arts Council's Young Artist Award in 2000.
