15th Singapore Saxophone Symposium 2026

Established in 1984, the School of Music aims to provide a portfolio of music programmes, which are both relevant to the Singaporean music performance and education scene, and also attractive to talented international students. NAFA is the only education institution in Singapore that offers diploma and degree programmes for both Chinese and Western music instrumentalists; the Bachelor of Music (Honours), Bachelor of Education (Honours) in Instrumental & Vocal Teaching, Master of Composition, and Master of Performance programmes are offered in collaboration with the Royal College of Music, London (RCM) and supported by the Central Conservatory of Music, Beijing.Over 300 diploma and degree students are supported by a distinguished international faculty. In addition to weekly public performances on campus, our student soloists, ensembles and orchestra can be heard regularly at performances in Singapore and abroad.

The 15th Singapore Saxophone Symposium 2026 brings together saxophonists, educators, students, composers, and musicians from Singapore and around the world for a weekend of performances, masterclasses, workshops, lectures, and artistic exchange.Held at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), the symposium features invited artists and speakers across a diverse range of musical backgrounds and practices. Participants may attend as observers or take part in selected activities, including individual lessons, masterclasses, and composition workshops.Programme highlights include:<ul><li>Gala Concert and recital performances</li><li>Lectures &amp; workshops</li><li>Public masterclasses</li><li>Composition workshop opportunities</li><li>Individual lessons with invited artists and tutors</li><li>Networking and collaborative exchange opportunities</li></ul>Whether you are a student, educator, performer, or music enthusiast, the symposium offers a platform to learn, connect, and engage with the saxophone community.
