Sathyavathi.An acclaimed vocalist, musicologist, educator, and former Professor of Sanskrit, Dr. Sathyavathi trained under Vasantha Madhavi and R. K. Srikantan. A performing artist since the age of 16, she has appeared on prestigious stages in India and abroad, including the Madras Music Academy and the SAARC Summit 1985.Through stories, music, and insightful commentary, she will illuminate the deeper meanings behind some of Karnatik music's most cherished compositions. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced learner, this session promises to enrich your appreciation of music, literature, and cultural heritage while offering fresh perspectives on the Karnatik tradition.
