Comedy After Hours at Monk's Brew Club is Singapore's newest comedy night. It's a place where audiences can enjoy a great showcase, attend an open mic, connect with comedians, and become part of the community.

The showcase features a curated lineup of established and rising comedians. Expect a mix of perspectives, styles, and voices from across Singapore's comedy scene.

Following the showcase, the evening continues with a free open mic where audiences can get a glimpse into how comedy is made. Watch comedians test ideas, develop material, and find their voice.

Between the showcase and the open mic, audiences are encouraged to chat with comedians, ask questions, and get to know the people behind the laughs.

Whether you're a comedy fan, aspiring comedian, or simply looking for a fun night out, Comedy After Hours is designed to bring people together for good laughs, great vibes, and real community.

Food and Drinks

Our doors open at 6:30pm, but Monk's Brew Club is open all day.

You are welcome to arrive early, grab a bite and drink, and settle in before the comedy begins at 7:30pm.

You can order food and drinks on the 1st floor throughout the day, or from the 2nd floor once doors open. If you're seated upstairs, Monk's Brew's staff will bring your order directly to you. The kitchen closes at 9pm and bar at 10pm.

The event takes place on the 2nd floor of Monk's Brew Club. Please note that it is not wheelchair accessible. Parking is available at Katong Square, Roxy Square and i12 Katong. Limited street side parking is also available

For Comedians

• The open mic takes place after the showcase.
• Open mic signups are in person only. Sign-ups begin at 6:30pm. Signups close at 7:25pm.
• The first 10 people to sign up will perform.
• If fewer than 10 people sign up, sign-ups will be accepted after the showcase ends and before the open mic begins.
• Performance order is determined by the host and is not based on sign-up order.
• Comics must check in with the host after the showcase and before the open mic begins.
• Open mic sets are 4 minutes. The host may adjust set lengths based on the number of performers and available time.
• Please be respectful of the time limit.
•The open mic is free to attend for friends, family, fellow comics, and comedy fans subject to room capacity. We are currently sold out so there is no extra room capacity.
• As this is our first Comedy After Hours open mic, we'll continue refining the format based on feedback from comics and audiences. Thanks for being part of the journey!
