24 &amp; 25 July - Charlene SuA Voice of Elegant SoulSingaporean vocalist and songwriter Charlene Su brings a contemporary voice shaped by a deep appreciation for the Great American Songbook and the timeless tradition of jazz storytelling. Known to many for her original pop and R&amp;B releases—including the viral hit I Like Red, which has amassed more than 11 million streams—Charlene’s musical roots began with formal vocal studies at the School of the Arts Singapore (SOTA), where she first developed her affinity for jazz standards and expressive interpretation. Over more than fifteen years on stage, Charlene has cultivated a style that blends elegance, warmth and emotional honesty. Her appearances as runner-up on The Final One (Season 2) introduced her to a wider audience, while her continued work as a recording artist and live performer has established her as one of Singapore’s distinctive musical voices. At the centre of his musical identity is the voice at the piano—shaping melody with clarity and emotional directness, while drawing on jazz phrasing and improvisational instinct as a guiding language.Based in New York City, Khalil has become a consistent presence in the city’s live music landscape, performing across venues such as Birdland Jazz Club, where his work sits alongside both traditional jazz repertoire and contemporary song interpretation. His approach reflects a fluid relationship between genres, where jazz serves less as a boundary and more as a method of expression.His career includes appearances on major stages and media platforms, including a performance alongside Sam Smith on Saturday Night Live, as well as ongoing engagements across the United States in both club and performing arts settings. 1 August - Jacob Khalil | Special ShowThe Contemporary SongsmithJacob Khalil is a Palestinian-American singer, pianist, and songwriter based in New York City. Known for blending jazz and contemporary pop, he has appeared on Saturday Night Live alongside Sam Smith, performed at Birdland, and built a following through soulful originals and reinterpretations of modern and jazz standards.

7 &amp; 8 August - Eugene Pao &amp; Jeremy Monteiro Quartet | Special Show40 Years of Friendship, Music and Jazz AdventureIn 1986, Jeremy Monteiro first heard Eugene Pao play at The Jazz Club in Hong Kong and was astonished to discover jazz guitar playing of such world-class depth, elegance and fire right here in Asia. That meeting began a friendship and musical collaboration that has now spanned 40 years.Since then, Eugene has worked with jazz greats including Randy Brecker, Eddie Gomez and Steve Gadd, while Jeremy has recorded and performed with artists such as Ernie Watts, Charlie Haden and Al Foster.Together, they have performed at the EFG London Jazz Festival, in China, with the Asian All Stars, and on recordings including a project with Laura Fygi. They have also recorded a duo album featuring the music of Michel Legrand, as well as their joint composition “From Paris to Segré.”On 7 and 8 August, Eugene and Jeremy reunite at the Capitol Jazz Club, joined by Ben Poh on bass and Hong Chanut Techatananan on drums. Expect an evening of swing, lyricism, virtuosity and spontaneous musical magic from four master musicians.

Over a distinguished career spanning more than two decades, she has earned widespread respect for her musical authority, versatility, and consistently compelling performances.Throughout her career, Alemay has collaborated with an exceptional range of international artists, including David Foster, Gregory Porter, Incognito, Ray Parker Jr., Nat Adderley Jr., Ernie Watts, Randy Brecker, Antonio Hart, Jay Anderson, Lewis Nash, Janis Siegel, Lauren Kinhan, and Bobby Soul of The Platters. Rather than relying on showmanship, Shavonne’s strength lies in subtle phrasing, attentive musicianship, and a natural connection with the audience.She moves comfortably between jazz standards, soul ballads, and modern repertoire, shaping each song with care and musical sensitivity. From the outset, her voice stood apart—clear, composed, and instinctively musical.Over four formative years as an active recording and performing artist, Natasha established herself as Thailand’s only jazz vocalist with a sustained international presence. She has performed widely across the region, earning recognition for her musical integrity and quietly confident artistry.Renowned for her crystal-clear tone and refined sense of rhythm and phrasing, Natasha is particularly admired for her interpretations of Brazilian music, where subtlety and timing are essential. 28 &amp; 29 August - The Carpio Brothers | Special ShowJazz Beyond the StandardInternationally acclaimed Hong Kong jazz musicians Bernard and Chris Carpio are joined by an outstanding rhythm section for an evening that moves effortlessly between straight-ahead jazz and groove-led jazz funk.Long regarded as leading figures on Hong Kong’s jazz scene, the Carpio brothers have developed the kind of musical rapport that only comes from a lifetime of performing together.
