Can I still come if I don't bring a record?

Accepted Answer

Yes, of course! Bringing a record is optional. Many people come just to listen, discover new music, and soak in the stories. You are more than welcome to join the circle and be part of the collective listening experience.

Question 2

How do I get a slot to share my record?

Accepted Answer

Sharing slots are issued on a first-come, first-served basis. When doors open at 7:30 PM, head to the registration desk to collect a physical number tag. Each person will share 1 song from 1 record. We have a maximum of 8 community slots per session to ensure everyone has enough time to share.

Question 3

What records can I bring?

Accepted Answer

Any genre is welcome, as long as it fits the night’s theme (Cover Songs). We can play 33, 45, and 78 RPM records. Please ensure your record is in playable condition—though a few crackles are just part of the "human touch" we love.

Question 4

Why is there a "Strict Cut-off" at 8:00 PM?

Accepted Answer

To protect the "Uninterrupted Listening" environment, we don't allow entry/re-entry from 8:00PM to 8:45PM. This ensures there are no distractions or door noise once we drop the needle. Please aim to arrive by 7:30 PM to settle in!

Question 5

What does "Active Listening" actually mean?

Accepted Answer

It means we treat the music as the main event, not background noise. During the 10-minute sharing slots, we silence our phones, stop side conversations, and give our full attention to the track being played. It’s an exercise in being present.

Question 6

Can I still buy merch if I don't pre-order?

Accepted Answer

We produce these in very small, hand-assembled batches at the studio. While we may have a few sets available for walk-ins, pre-ordering is the only way to guarantee you’ll get one before they sell out.

Question 7

Where exactly is the ART/ST Records studio?

Accepted Answer

We are located at *SCAPE, #02-12. It's on the same floor as the drop off point and located right next to Cha Sing. Look for the ART/ST Records signage or just follow the sound of the music.
