What is the minimum age of participation?

Participants must be above 12 years old to join the Sultan Shoal Lighthouse Tour, and those below 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Where is the Meeting Point of the tour?

The meeting point is at Pasir Panjang Ferry Terminal (55 Pasir Panjang Rd, 118810). Parking spaces are very limited and you are advised to take public transport. Do note that the ferry terminal is about a 10-15 mins walk from the main Pasir Panjang Road.

Where is the Ending Point of the tour?

The tour will end at Pasir Panjang Ferry Terminal (55 Pasir Panjang Rd, 118810).

Question 4

Who do I look for when I arrive?

Please proceed to the terminal on the right and look for our guide (in yellow polo-tee) or coordinator (in white T-shirt). Please ensure you are registered by our guides/coordinators before the start of the tour.

Will it be cold/windy?

Accepted Answer

The ferry is air-conditioned. Please bring along a sweater or scarf if preferred. Out at sea and on the island, there may be strong sea breeze, please prepare a windbreaker if preferred.

Will there be water break?

Participants are advised to bring their own bottled water. No water will be provided on this tour. Alcohol consumption is not allowed on the tour.

Will there be toilet break?

Toilets are available at Pasir Panjang Ferry Terminal and on board the ferry. There are no functioning toilets on Sultan Shoal Lighthouse island.

Question 8

What is the attire?

Accepted Answer

Please be dressed comfortably and wear covered shoes (preferably with shoelaces). Strictly no slippers, and sandals (including crocs) are allowed due to safety considerations. Participants are not to wear skirts or dresses as there might be steep staircases on board.

Who is eligible for concessionary rates?

Accepted Answer

To be eligible for the concession rate for students or senior citizens, participants must be Singaporean or PR and present a valid ID or student pass during registration. Participants without valid documentary proof of identity would not be able to attend the tour.

Question 10

What happens if I'm late for the tour?

Accepted Answer

Registration for the tour starts at the time stated in your Eventbrite booking. Kindly ensure you have enough time to check in. If you're late, you might not be able to join the group. Ferry will depart sharply at the stated timing. No rescheduling or refunds will be provided if you miss the ferry.

Whilst stocks last. If you have a discount code, kindly ensure that you have entered the discount code before booking your tour. We regret to inform that we are unable to apply the discount after tickets have been booked.

Question 12

What kind of tour is this?

Accepted Answer

This is a sea-based tour. Participants will travel by ferry to the island, followed by walking around the island. If you're prone to seasickness, we suggest you prepare your own seasickness medication.

Question 13

What is the cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

No cancellations, refunds, or changes can be made. No refund will be issued in case of unforeseen events or extreme weather causing the ferry to be cancelled.
