Society of Tourist Guides (Singapore) was started in 2003 by a group of trainer guides with guiding experience between 18 to 30 years.The Society held its first International Tourist Guide Day (ITGD) event on 21 February 2004, with member guides offering free walking tours in Chinatown, Emerald Hill, Singapore River, Fort Canning and many more.ITGD has been celebrated ever since at various site including Esplanade Park, Sentosa, Singapore Botanic Gardens, National Museum of Singapore, National Gallery Singapore, Asian Civilisation Museum etc.The Society works closely with Singapore Tourism Board and other industry partners to promote the professionalism of tourist guides as the Tourism Ambassadors of Singapore.

This guided tour highlights how regulated e‑waste is collected, processed and channelled for proper recycling, and how everyone has a part to play in disposing of electronics responsibly.At ALBA E‑Waste Smart Recycling, you will learn how Singapore's National Environment Agency (NEA) appointed Producer Responsibility Scheme operator supports the proper take‑back and treatment of regulated e‑waste, helping to keep hazardous components out of the environment and recover valuable resources for reuse. At Virogreen (S) Pte Ltd, you will be introduced to how end‑of‑life IT equipment is managed through secure processing and recycling, reducing what eventually needs to be incinerated or landfilled.Through expert explanations and on‑site sharing, this tour underscores key Clean &amp; Green Singapore messages: waste less, recycle right and support responsible businesses. Terms and conditions<ul><li>This tour is for all Singapore citizens, permanent residents, and ICA-approved or MOM-approved passes with a valid FIN number, including holders of employment pass, student pass, work permit or dependent pass. By purchasing a ticket under this category, you hereby (a) declare that you are a resident, and (b) acknowledge and agree that we may conduct verification checks in accordance with Personal Data Protection Policy.</li><li>This is a walking and facility tour that may involve stairs and extended periods of standing. Participants should be reasonably mobile, be dressed in long pants and wear covered, sturdy footwear.</li><li>Minimum age of 13 years old may apply in line with host facility requirements. Children under the age of 13, must be accompanied by an adult at all times.</li><li>Participants must stay with the group, follow all safety instructions given by guides and facility staff, and must not cross barriers or enter restricted areas.</li><li>Photography or videography may be restricted in certain zones. Participants must comply with all site specific rules on cameras, mobile phones and recording devices.</li><li>Large bags and loose items may not be permitted inside operational areas and may need to be left at designated holding points.</li><li>The organiser reserves the right to amend or shorten the tour, or replace sites with alternatives, in the event of bad weather, operational constraints or safety considerations.</li><li>By registering, participants acknowledge that they are joining at their own risk, agree to follow all instructions from the organiser and host facilities, and consent to the use of photographs taken during the event for non commercial publicity of Clean &amp; Green Singapore activities, unless they inform the organiser otherwise in advance.</li></ul> Refunds and CancellationsAll ticket fees paid are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
