Question 1

How much experience do I need? Is there an instructor present?

Accepted Answer

Only the ability to hold a pen or brush is required! The session will feature a central prompt to help kickstart your ideas, but where you take it from there is completely up to your creativity.

Question 2

What is included in the fee, and what should I bring?

Accepted Answer

The workshop is free to join! We provide a variety of markers, pens, and brushes for shared use. Please bring your own notebook or paper to draw on, along with any personal art supplies you've been waiting for an excuse to use.

Question 3

Do I need to book in advance?

Accepted Answer

Walk-ins are welcome as space permits, but booking ahead secures your spot. If you can no longer attend, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance so we can open the slot to someone else.

Question 4

What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

No special clothing is required! Markers are much less messy than paint, but wearing darker colors is always a safe option if you're worried about accidental ink spots.

Question 5

Can I bring food and drinks?

Accepted Answer

Food and drinks are not allowed inside the library space, but you are welcome to consume them right outside the premises. There are plenty of great cafes and a hawker centre nearby if you need a meal or coffee break!

Question 6

Do I get to take my artwork home on the same day?

Accepted Answer

Yes, absolutely—your creation is yours to keep! Since marker and pen drawings dry quickly, there's no waiting around.
