Established in 1980 by PolyGram Records, Lion Studios remains standing as the oldest recording studio in Singapore. Designed by Jeff Cooper (who has designed studios for Steven Spielberg and George Lucas amongst many other Hollywood elites), the fully sound-proofed and acoustically treated studio will deliver a world-class listening experience.Between 1980 and the early 2000s, Lion Studios has hosted many great artistes and bands such as Teresa Teng, Tracy Huang, Kit Chan, M. Nasir, Ramli Sarip, Flybaits, Search, Headwind and The Alleycats, and more. 早上睡不太著，七、八點就醒來了，站起身來走到書桌旁，映入眼簾的是黃色的房子與天空中早起的鳥兒。生活的規律總讓人麻痺，但在那些脫離常軌的時候，我們會看見不一樣的光景，然後紛雜的思緒翻起心底的餘波。就這樣看著窗外呆坐，好似過了千年。Struggling with insomnia, I found myself wide awake at 7 in the morning. I walked past my desk and leaned towards the window. There before me was a breathtaking sight: a yellow house standing against a mesmerizing pink-blue sky, with early birds soaring in a graceful dance. 
The routine of everyday life can leave us feeling numb. But there are times when we escape its hold, we see a different world unfold. A rush of thoughts stirred up deep-seated emotions. 
Sitting here, staring out the window, time seems to stretch on endlessly, as if a thousand years had passed in a mere moment.

老王樂隊以新台灣後民謠的曲風，於 2017 年 9 月 28日發行第一張 EP《吾十有五而志於學》，歌曲在
YouTube 上創造了每首皆破百萬點擊的驚人紀錄；其中，〈我還年輕 我還年輕〉至今合計已累積破 3000萬次點擊。
2019年10月發行首張專輯《吾日三省吾身》後便隨即展開各城市巡演，開創台北、台中場次完售佳績，追加台北場次後亦售罄，同期巡演場次亦規劃至大陸地區。
2020年起，因疫情關係導致許多演出與巡迴計畫暫
緩，而老王樂隊也藉此累計創作能量，同時與許多不同單位進行合作，都獲得相當好的迴響，包括2022年8月擔任趙傳《人生大夢》演唱會嘉賓。

在第一張專輯發行後，我們一路踏雪前行，即將釋出三年來沉澱後的首張作品。
這段時間，許多人期待著老王樂隊的新作。但計畫總趕不上變化，時間不斷推進，而我們在努力推進的路上載浮載沉。這段時間裡，我們也在做新作品上做了許多嘗試，不段反覆修改，最終才得以推出作品，名為《黃色的房子映照清晨的天空》。
