Treatises on TreatisesThis 2-hour event promises to showcase contemporary music performed by musicians from music group "what the FORTE", as well as breathtaking art pieces from local artist Chan Choy Har, all based on Cornelius Cardew's "Treatise".Cornelius Cardew's "Treatise" are sets of graphical scores that may seem like random drawings, but they allow musicians abudant freedom for interpretations in their performance. This time around, music group "what the FORTE" have collaborated with local artist Chan Choy Har to use their musical and artistic talents, to express and interpret these "Treatises". Each line and shape presented in the graphical scores are brought to life through the music from our performers and art pieces of our art exhibition.
