In June 2022, the iconic Singapore music venue Blu Jaz reopened its live music program with the Jazz Loft, located on the 3rd floor of it’s premises at Bali Lane.The mission of this new space, is to showcase jazz, and improvisation, as an evolving art form, rather than a museum-piece, presenting those artists, both local and international, that are part of the forward motion, and artistic development of the music.

Pocket Change presents:Bebop &amp; BalladsThe youthful exuberance of saxophonist Justin Ng and melodic musings of pianist Xavier Lim join forces to form Pocket Change, a project hell-bent on presenting moving music across a multitude of genres.“Bebop and Ballads” sees the group showcase tunes that sparked their love for jazz and what continues to inspire them to this day, with a little help from their friends!The Band:Pablo Calzado on drumsXavier Lim on organ &amp; pianoJustin Ng on saxophonesGuest Feature:Joshua Nathaniel Francis on guitarGuest pianist: Amery Rueban Doors open at 7.00pmSets at 7.45 and 9.15pmCover charge $22 for both sets
