In June 2022, the iconic Singapore music venue Blu Jaz reopened its live music program with the Jazz Loft, located on the 3rd floor of it’s premises at Bali Lane.The mission of this new space, is to showcase jazz, and improvisation, as an evolving art form, rather than a museum-piece, presenting those artists, both local and international, that are part of the forward motion, and artistic development of the music.

Swing by The Jazz Loft with some early jazz for Jazz Inc's monthly social night Wednesday Night Hop! The Rhythmakers will be playing groovin' tunes for both dancers and listeners alike! This month we shake things up a little with having an afternoon tea dance instead of the usual night party, and expect some traditional local tunes jazzed up to celebrate Hari Raya! The Rhythmakers are: Sinclair Ang (vocals)Amanda Lee (piano)Asher Lee (drums)Fabian Lee (bass)Liu Yonglun (guitar)Seth Tsui (trombone) Doors open at 250pm for the class at 3pm, and 320pm for the music at 330pm. Whether you're a dancer, a jazz lover, or a musician, you're guaranteed a great time! If you're keen to learn how to dance, there's a taster class ($10 payable at the door) from 3-330pm before the band starts or email sinclair.ang@gmail.com to book your slot
