This course aims to give a basic introduction to acrylic painting techniques, understand this medium, and how to achieve its optimal results. Pictures shown are for illustration purpose, and can be different from projects during this course.

Shapes as building blocks of abstract art.

Colour Wheel and the emotional impact of colours.

Rule Thirds, Balance (symmetry vs asymmetry), Contrast.

Visual rhythm and movement through combination of lines, shapes and colours.

Execute a well-composed abstract artwork.

Bring Your Own Materials:

Plastic sheet for desk.
2B Pencil, 30cm Ruler, Eraser, Containers for water, Rag for cleaning brushes.
Shawl/Sweater as you may feel cold.

Given Materials: Acrylic Paint Set, Paint Brush Set, Canvas Boards.
