About the Speaker:

John Ng, a veteran with over 25 years of expertise in advertising, media, and marketing, is the Group Managing Director of One9Ninety and Narrators, helping brands build trusted stories. Formerly the Managing Director of Gov@Publicis, he led a 50+ team, delivering award-winning public sector campaigns. John advocates for tech-driven brand connections and supports startups as an angel investor. He’s the author of Lead the New Asia, a martial arts instructor, and a Level 2 mentor with Mentoring SG. He also serves on the marketing committee for Make A Wish Singapore.

This event is designed for Digital Advertising Agencies and Data-Conscious Consumer Brands seeking to enhance their strategic decision-making, pitches, and planning by gaining insights into their competitors' communication strategies.

Why are you organising these?

We think it's unfair to keep our insights about advertising systems to ourselves, especially since we're not restricted by NDAs or non-competes, having never worked at Google or Meta. Our event in Singapore is a catalyst for community building aiming at free marketing knowledge exchange.

Do I need to pay to attend?

The event is free, but we are buying pizza, and providing the hall, and coffee when we get enough donations, so you are encouraged to donate if you find our marketing movement meaningful.

Will it be recorded?

We record some events, it depends on the topic and its applicability to the broader internet audience. We encourage you to attend in person, nothing can replace the life Q&A and networking we could have at cozy Block71 @ Ayer Rajah One North.
