An Evening at The ART is a dining event held quarterly featuring different themes and cuisines partnering with Chefs from well-known establishments. This is an excellent training opportunity to expand the training scope of APS culinary and hospitality students to elevate their skills. Your invaluable support plays a vital role in enriching our students’ experience with meangful hands-on learning opportunities, fostering their growth and development within the hospitality industry.
You can expect a repertoire of gastronomic sensory dining experiences at An Evening at The ART. Pricing for the event is at $50 nett per person.

This marks the inaugural collaboration between PARKROYAL COLLECTION and APS Academy student chefs for this distinguished dining event.

With over 25 years of culinary expertise, Executive Chef Alvin Leong of PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering crafts modern gastronomic artistry, seamlessly fusing Asian, Peranakan, and European influences. A celebrated figure both in the kitchen and on screen, Chef Alvin has graced popular local television programs like King of Culinary, Food Struck, Old Taste Detective, and Buzzing Hawkers, captivating audiences with his passion for heritage flavours and innovation.
His illustrious career began at Singapore’s Laguna Golf & Country Club, followed by pivotal roles across leading hotels. In 2009, he joined InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) as Executive Sous Chef, later steering culinary operations at multiple IHG properties before his tenure as Executive Chef of Crowne Plaza Changi Airport. A testament to his skills and expertise in diverse culinary traditions, Chef Alvin has earned recognition as one of the top outstanding chefs at the Global Gourmet 2020 and 2021 competitions in the “Chef par Excellence” category.
Driven by a philosophy that every dish tells a story, Chef Alvin reinterprets tradition with contemporary flair—sourcing locally from artisanal producers and weaving time-honoured techniques with bold creativity. To him, cuisine is more than sustenance; it’s an evocative journey where heritage meets imagination.
