About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

Join Senior Specialist Eric Ow and Senior Archivist Joyce Wong as they unravel the common misconceptions of digital preservation and provide a glimpse into how the National Archives of Singapore (NAS) preserves its digital collection. They will also answer your burning questions about digital preservation such as:

  • Why does digital preservation matter?
  • Does digital content will last forever?
  • Is it enough to store digital content online or should multiple copies of them be kept?
  • Is digital content safe just by storing them in hard drives and will they still be accessible years later?
