About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

Youth comes with its own unique set of challenges, including the juggling of various expectations from parents/guardians, school, friends, and one's own self. This art therapy workshop aims to guide youths aged 11 to 14 in exploring the expectations that they face using concepts from art therapy and reflecting on the emotions associated with these emotions, as well as their strengths, using colours and sensorial therapy.

Hands-on art creation will be practised in this workshop using crayons, markers, food colouring and other art materials to deliver the concepts being taught.

This programme is for youths aged 11 to 14.

About the programme partner: The Therapy Room (TTR) was founded in 2013 and incorporates different psychological techniques to deliver services and care for mood disorders, developmental disorders, grief and bereavement, addictive behaviours, anxieties, and marital issues. TTR has conducted various workshops, training, and talks at organizations and schools. It also runs Camp Global®️, a three-day day camp for primary school aged children that aims to cultivate mindfulness, stress management and resilience, social skills, and goal-setting using multi-sensorial psychotherapeutic techniques in a lighthearted and enjoyable setting.
