This April, our resident Instructor Winnie Jau is featuring her Chicken Rendang and Nyona Chendol recipes. These are both delicious dishes with rich cultural roots—Chicken Rendang is a deeply spiced stew with tender chicken and coconut milk, while Nyona Chendol is a refreshing dessert made with pandan jelly, coconut milk, and palm sugar syrup. The combination of bold, savory flavors from the rendang with the sweet, cooling dessert would definitely make for a perfect meal.
