We specialise in tip-based walking tours through the historic areas of Kuala Lumpur. Currently, we offer two distinct heritage walks and plan to introduce additional routes by mid-2025. These tours are part of our privately funded initiative, Keeping Kuala Lumpur's Heritage Alive. We also provide private walks upon request, which are available for a professional fee. Starting April 2025 our walks are available every day except Monday
Every day except Monday, one of our trained and licensed tourist guides leads participants through the streets and lanes of Kuala Lumpur, sharing captivating stories about the city’s past and present. April 2025 our walks are available every day except Monday and one of our trained and licensed tourist guides leads participants through the streets and lanes of Kuala Lumpur, sharing captivating stories about the city’s past and present.
Our guides delve into the origins of Kuala Lumpur, exploring why and how people migrated to the city. They recount tales of historical figures—heroes, villains, and forgotten pioneers—while highlighting the city’s historic architecture and other fascinating details. Passionate about preserving Kuala Lumpur’s heritage, our guides are enthusiastic storytellers who love engaging with guests and sharing their deep knowledge and love for the city.
All our guides live and work in Kuala Lumpur, and many have extensive experience in heritage tours. Some have worked with prominent organisations like Think City, Kuala Lumpur City Hall, Tourism Selangor, and the Klang Royal City Council. Our team includes Jane Rai, an award-winning tourist guide, content writer, speaker, and trainer, who has been conducting heritage walks in Kuala Lumpur since 1993.
Our walks are unscripted and conversational. Rather than formal presentations, we encourage open dialogue and invite participants to indulge their curiosity by asking questions about anything that sparks their interest. Whether you want to learn about Kuala Lumpur’s history, culture, or hidden gems, our tours offer an engaging experience where you’ll discover new perspectives, have fun, and make meaningful connections along
