About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours

We all want to feel good about ourselves, but all too easily we become bogged down by self-critical cycles of thought and feelings of inadequacy which can adversely affect our daily life, our relationships and hold us back from achieving our true potential. Authentic confidence and self-esteem come from within and don’t depend upon our worldly achievements, the approval from others, having a high status or our appearance. They are mental skills that we can learn and strengthen, gradually developing a more and more positive relationship with ourselves and our true inner potential.

During this half-day course we will explore how Buddhist wisdom offers us a different way of viewing ourself, relating to the extraordinary potential that we all have rather than to our limitations. Developing this healthy self-view will naturally lead us to improve our good qualities and cultivate positive, happy states of mind, as well as enabling us to be a positive influence on those around us.

This course will include:

  • Guided Meditations: Learn calming and transformative meditations that help to cultivate a positive self-view
  • Practical Teachings: Learn accessible advice that helps us to maintain a peaceful mind and a positive outlook amidst the challenges of modern daily life
  • Question & Answer: Have your questions answered to ensure that you walk away from the course knowing how to apply what you've learnt with confidence

No experience is necessary to attend this course, everyone is welcome!

Course Cost: $45 per person. All funds raised are donated to the International Temples Project Building Temples for world peace.
