About the Programme

Author Terence Ang shares about his third book Strength in Motion: The Next Chapter of Stroke.

In a world where adversity often tests the limits of human resilience, one man’s incredible journey stands as a testament to the power of never giving up. Terence, a stroke survivor, shares his extraordinary story in a new book that offers hope, inspiration and practical insights for fellow survivors.

Strength in Motion: The Next Chapter of Stroke invites readers into Terence’s journey of conquering mental and physical challenges inherent in stroke recovery. The book explores the positive impact of exercise, how movement not only restores physical function but also reshapes one’s outlook on life. It features anecdotes from fellow survivors and medical professionals, for readers to better understand complex issues. Drawing from Terence’s personal experiences with therapy, rehabilitation, and personal training, the book also offers practical advice for stroke survivors about the recovery process and discuss how society can express greater solidarity with stroke survivors and give them better support.

Terence has given permission to download some sample chapters of his book at https://go.gov.sg/terenceang
