About this event

INTERNATIONAL PILATES ASIA CONGRESS (IPAC) 2025: Expanding Knowledge and Elevating the Industry

Pilates is becoming increasingly popular worldwide, yet many people still don’t fully understand what it is. Some see it as just a workout, while others recognize its deeper benefits for rehabilitation, mobility, and overall wellness. In reality, Pilates is a holistic movement system that enhances health, prevents injuries, and supports longevity.

Why Attend IPAC 2025?

IPAC is a unique opportunity for professionals and enthusiasts to learn from highly respected master trainers who have shaped the global Pilates landscape. This year, we are honored to welcome industry pioneers whose expertise spans decades of education, innovation, and impact:

Alan Herdman – A pioneer in Pilates, introduced the method to the UK and established its first studio in 1970. With over 50 years of experience, he has trained globally, authored influential books, and shaped Pilates education, leaving a lasting impact on mainstream health, fitness, and instructor training worldwide.

Kathy Corey – President of the International Pilates Heritage Society, has been a leading Pilates expert since 1979. She trained with the Pilates Elders, created the CORE Band®, and her certification programs span 20+ countries. Recognized globally, she continues to shape Pilates education and innovation worldwide.

Karen Clippinger – Professor Emerita at California State University, Long Beach, is a renowned kinesiologist, author, and Pilates educator. With expertise in anatomy, injury prevention, and movement science, she has integrated Pilates into her work since 1993. She authored Dance Anatomy and Kinesiology and co-authored Pilates Anatomy, shaping movement education worldwide.

Li Xin – Founder of Li Xin Pilates Academy and creator of Chinese-style Pilates, is a pioneering force in China’s Pilates community. As China’s first 5-star personal trainer, he has trained over 20,000 students and integrated Pilates with Chinese Meridian therapy, revolutionizing fitness, rehabilitation, and movement education.

These experts bring a wealth of knowledge and practical insights into how Pilates contributes to rehabilitation, movement efficiency, and overall well-being in a meaningful and accessible way.

Beyond exercise, Pilates is about education — teaching the fundamentals of human development and exploring its impact on:

Rehabilitation – Supporting recovery from injuries and surgeries
Golden Age & Aging Well – Enhancing mobility, balance, and independence for aging populations.

Scoliosis Management – Improving spinal alignment and reducing discomfort
Breast Cancer Recovery – Helping survivors regain strength and confidence
Hormonal Health – Addressing imbalances and promoting overall vitality
Pilates & Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) – Understanding how principles like Qi (energy flow), meridians, and balance complement Pilates for deeper healing and movement efficiency
Switching Careers to Pilates – Transforming a passion for movement into a meaningful profession that changes lives\
