The Hoffman Process is a transformative 7-day residential retreat built on the understanding that many of the persistent negative behaviours and attitudes we experience as adults are deeply rooted in the experiences and conditioning of our childhood. Our early upbringing significantly shapes our self-beliefs, attitudes, moods, and behaviours, influencing how we navigate the world. In response to childhood environments, we develop adaptive survival strategies—both positive and limiting—that help us cope, but may no longer serve us as adults. When these patterns fail to meet our emotional needs, we often internalize feelings of inadequacy or direct blame toward ourselves and others.
In this immersive one-day workshop, Volker will provide an introduction to the foundational concepts and principles of the Hoffman Process. Through guided exploration and experiential activities, you will begin the journey of uncovering these ingrained patterns and realigning your thoughts, feelings, and actions. By cultivating greater awareness, you will learn to create a "gap" between triggers and automatic responses, empowering you to make more deliberate and authentic choices in how you engage with your environment. We will also incorporate reflective practices with small and large group share exercises.
As Viktor Frankl wisely observed: "Between a trigger and our response, there is a gap. That gap is our human freedom."
This workshop is your first step toward widening that gap, reclaiming your freedom, and transforming how you live, love, and connect.
