Born and raised in Long Island, New York, Keith B. Carter is a multifaceted professional with 30 years of diverse business experience spanning Wall St. technology, fashion, and academia. He is currently the CEO of KDA Capabilities, a company focused on building emerging technology capacity globally.
Keith's academic career includes a 10-year tenure as an Associate Professor (Practice) at the National University of Singapore (NUS), where he taught across the Business School, Computing, and Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy. He founded the NUS FinTech Lab and developed various courses in data analytics, intelligent systems, and financial technology.
In the corporate world, Keith spent 13 years at Estee Lauder in New York, leading global supply chain innovation and significantly improving the company's financial performance. He also has experience in the financial sector on Wall St, having worked with Accenture (Andersen Consulting at the time) with clients including Solomon Brothers and Goldman Sachs.
Keith is an accomplished author whose book "Actionable Intelligence" became an Amazon bestseller. He's a two-time TEDx speaker and holds several prestigious positions, including membership in the Bretton Woods Committee's Digital Finance Working Group and board membership at the DEC Institute in Zurich.
His expertise in AI, data analytics, and fintech has led to engagements with major corporations like Genting, UBS, Mastercard, and Procter & Gamble, where he provides insights on implementing intelligent systems and driving innovation.
He enjoys traveling to explore food and culture, snowboarding, and playing basketball and ping pong.
