Symmetry and Singapore indie-rock favourites Last Dinosaurs return to our shores fresh off their "KYORYU" LP released May 2024, performing at the majestic yet intimate Capitol Theatre.
No strangers to Singapore, having performed at Camp Symmetry (2013) and 2x sold-out headline shows in 2019 and 2022, Last Dinosaurs are undeniably a local favourite.
A musical career spanning 15 years, Australia's indie-rock darlings Last Dinosaurs have grown together with fans of their now 2012 classic debut LP "In A Million Years" and cultivated new ones across their expansive 5LP discography.
The trio, consisting of brothers Sean, Lachlan Caskey, and Michael Sloane, emerges to the beat and melody spun together from their latest album, KYORYU. The album's title pays homage to the brothers’ Japanese heritage with their middle names, Kyohei and Ryusuke, with "Kyōryū" (恐竜) also meaning "dinosaur”. This reflects the brothers' duality and sets the stage for the album's essence. While each track and side stands alone, they merge harmoniously to create a cohesive masterpiece.
