Ever wondered what secrets lie beneath the waves on Singapore’s offshore islands 🌴? Join Biogirl MJ on a special intertidal adventure as we hop across the sea to explore a whole new marine ecosystem teeming with life!

Armed with your cameras and curiosity, become a marine explorer for the day! Spot rare sea creatures, snap up-close photos of incredible biodiversity, and witness an untouched side of Singapore most never get to see. Along the way, MJ will share fascinating facts, quirky stories, and the hidden wonders of this magical habitat.

For safety reasons, this intertidal adventure is strictly for children aged 10 and above. We seek your understanding in respecting this age requirement to ensure the well-being of all participants.

Safety Precautions

  • All groups will only allow a maximum of 8 participants, including children / toddlers / babies of any age.
  • No "tagging along" is allowed and we reserve the rights to reject any additional participants (beyond the 8 pax limit) who appear without prior notice.
  • Participants are free to choose whether they would like to wear a face mask or not during the adventure.

Cancellation Policies

  • As Just Keep Thinking would be holding the slot for you and turning down other potential customers, you will not be refunded should you decide to cancel after your booking.
  • In the event of a wet weather, you may either get a full refund or reschedule your trip at no additional cost.
  • In the event of other Covid-19 government regulations that affect your trip without it having to be cancelled (e.g. reduction in social gathering sizes, in the event of a lockdown), you may either get a full refund or reschedule your trip at no additional cost.
  • Just Keep Thinking reserves the rights to postpone or cancel the trip prior if there is less than 6 registered participants a week before the date.

How is Pulau Hantu different from mainland intertidal sites?

Pulau Hantu is an offshore island with a coral reef ecosystem, home to unique marine life like hard and soft corals, reef fish, and other unique animals that are not commonly found on the mainland. . It's a rare chance to explore one of Singapore’s few natural reef habitats!

Can children below 10 years old join the intertidal adventure?

For safety reasons, this intertidal adventure is strictly for children aged 10 and above. The terrain can be uneven and slippery, and there is a chance of encountering venomous or stinging marine creatures. We appreciate your understanding to ensure the well-being of all participants.

How big will each group be during the intertidal adventure?

To ensure everyone’s safety and a meaningful, enjoyable experience, each group will be kept small, with a maximum of 8 participants per guide. This is especially important as the terrain on the offshore island is more challenging than typical mainland shores.

What does the rate include?

The rate covers the private chartered boat ride to and from Pulau Hantu, as well as a 2 to 2.5-hour guided intertidal tour led by trained and experienced guides.

Are there lockers available at Marina South Pier or Pulau Hantu?

Lockers are not available at either Marina South Pier or Pulau Hantu. We recommend packing light and bringing only essential belongings in a small backpack that you can carry with you throughout the adventure.

Are there toilet facilities available on the island?

Yes, there is a toilet available on Pulau Hantu. However, please note that it’s a basic public facility and may not be in the best condition. We recommend using the restroom before the trip and managing expectations accordingly.

Do you conduct private tours for schools and corporates?

Is there parking available at Marina South Pier?

Yes, there are parking lots available at Marina South Pier. However, the parking rates are quite pricey (https://www.playpier.com/marina-south-pier-parking), so we strongly recommend taking a ride-hailing service for convenience or consider other alternative parking lots nearby.
