'Tingar Buddana' is the famously absurd and popular literary work of this awarded and well-known Kannada poet and playwright. It has been enacted in many versions on stages across India. Patil is known for his protest literature and absurd plays. The play speaks of the frailty of the male ego. Fuelled by his ego, a simple, magical human creature who is bestowed with a power beyond his comprehension, bizarrely finds his death in this absurd play….
