Theme: Horticulture for Viksit Bharat – Nutrition | Empowerment | Livelihood

Dates: February 27th – March 1st, 2025
Venue: ICAR-IIHR, Bengaluru, Karnataka

The theme of the 2025 fair focuses on three core pillars that are critical to the future of horticulture in India: Nutrition, Empowerment, and Livelihood. The fair will highlight ways to improve nutrition through the promotion of nutritionally rich crops and varieties. It will also emphasize the empowerment of farmers, particularly those from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds, by providing need-based information, technologies, and programs. The event will address ways to improve the livelihoods of farmers through innovations in productivity, income, and sustainable practices in horticulture.
