This is a National Silver Academy (NSA) course open to Singaporeans/PR aged 50 and above.
This course aims to teach the fundamentals of portrait drawing through the study and understanding of facial construction - features, anatomy and proportion. Students will learn various drawing techniques, as well as develop skills in expressing values, shadows and shading using a step-by-step approach.
Interesting highlights of the programme include:
- Introduction to the different styles of drawing and art media
- Understand the standard measures and proportions of our facial construction
- Learn how to draw with volume, perspective, shading, composition and expression

50 years old and above
Singaporean or PR
Must be able to read, understand and converse in simple English
