About the Book

“Our Feelings (Perasaan Kita)” is an English-Malay picture book series for preschool children aged 4-6. The books aim to help children build their communication skill, by providing the necessary vocabulary and contextual understanding to express how they feel in both English and Malay languages through simple and relatable stories.
The three books focus on feelings hunger, anger and anxiousness respectively.  The simple illustrated stories show Khai, our main character, learning to understand and manage his feelings in everyday situations. Khai imagines each feeling as an animal as he engages with them, bringing the abstract concept of feelings into something concrete and relatable for preschoolers.
