About this event

Paws and Relax: Mindful Cats and Dogs Painting Art Workshop

Come join me for a paws-itively purrfect afternoon of creativity and relaxation at my watercolour painting workshop! You will learn how to use watercolour washes to paint adorable cats and dogs. Using ink pen you will engage in mindful drawing by creating repetitive patterns or abstract designs to form a complete mixed media artwork. No art experience needed - just bring your love for furry friends and a desire to unwind while doing good at the same time. A portion of the proceeds will go towards caring for chronically ill community cats at Love Kuching. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to de-stress and help cats in need!

Love Kuching Project Singapore is a volunteer run animal welfare group supporting community cats who face lifelong illnesses or debilitating injuries. They are entirely donation driven with all funds going to cats and their welfare. You can also find out more about the good work they do here.

Beeli (aka. Bittergod Art) is a Singapore artist and her art journey started in 2018 as a form of healing through art making during a period of despair and anxiety. Beeli has exhibited her works in the Pameran Poskad group art exhibition and "There's Room For You Here" mental health art exhibition at Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre. She holds a Master degree in Creative Media from RMIT University, Australia and is a mindfulness practitioner. Through her art practice, Beeli hopes to inspire individuals to tap into their creativity as a means of coping with daily stresses and to promote overall mental well-being.
