About this event
Want to build connections, foster collaboration, spark creativity and accelerate learning at your workplace?
Or looking to incorporate serious games and fun, meaningful activities into your meetings, brainstorming sessions, training and team-building?
Welcome to the inaugural #play14 Singapore!
What is #play14?
We are a global non-profit movement of play enthusiasts who believe play(fulness) is the best way to learn, share and create! Since starting in Luxembourg in 2014, #play14 has engaged 2,500 players in 35 cities across 20 countries. Celebrating its 10-year anniversary this year, #play14 is coming to Singapore for the first time in October!
How is #play14 different from other events?
#play14 is an unconference based on open space technology. Participants (players) are also contributors, pitching games, questions or challenges to claim a time slot in the day’s agenda. The agenda is created every morning on the spot, encouraging spontaneous and dynamic interactions.
Who’s #play14 for?
Players come from diverse backgrounds and industries: games designers, trainers, facilitators, agile coaches, teachers, HR, L&D professionals, and more. Whether you aim to inspire or be inspired, there’s something for everyone!
What can I expect at #play14 Singapore?
- Physical Games & Play Experiences: Learn, share and understand through play.
- New Ideas: Discover new activities and variations to try with your teams.
- Conversations: Connect with interesting people from various backgrounds.
- Experimentation: Test ideas and new games in a safe place with open-minded people who will be happy to provide feedback. Or come up with something you want to teach, and find people to help you design a game for it.

Frequently asked questions
The hosts of #play14 Singapore are volunteers passionate about play-enabled learning and innovation. We have diverse day jobs; some have attended #play14 in other cities. We hope to build a community of play enthusiasts, advocates, practitioners and designers, starting with #play14 Singapore 2024.
#play14 is an unconference where participants actively co-create the event. You can propose and run games or join those proposed by others. The possibilities are endless; come with an open mind to be surprised! An orientation on 25 Oct will help you get started, even if you are new to unconferences.
No, it is not compulsory. You can join and play games proposed by others. However, #play14 is a great place to share games you have enjoyed or conducted successfully, and test new games you have designed.
The ticket includes a welcome dinner on 25 Oct, lunch and snacks on 26-27 Oct, a limited edition #play14 Singapore shirt, and surprises in the Welcome Pack. Invite others in your professional networks to join and discover more bonuses to be unveiled!
Eventbrite charges a service fee and payment processing fee for each ticket. These fees are passed on to you to support our non-profit event. Thank you for your understanding.

T-shirts are made to order. Please select your size carefully during registration, as exchanges are not supported. T-shirts will be given to players on 25 Oct.
We highly encourage players to join us for the full 2.5 days to get the full #play14 experience. Please note only one T-shirt will be provided per ticket.
