About this event
FIRST CLEAN UP OF 2025!
We are back! Seven Clean Seas is inviting you to make a meaningful impact by joining our beach clean up event on February 22, 2025. After witnessing lots of beaches swarmed by trash during the monsoon season, it's our time to gear up, get together, and start cleaning the beach.
As stewards of the environment, it's our collective responsibility to protect our oceans and beaches for future generations. Together, we can make a difference!

🌏 What to Expect:
- A fun-filled day of community bonding and environmental action.
- Cleaning up litter and plastic waste from our beautiful coastline.
- Opportunities to learn about marine conservation and the importance of reducing plastic pollution.
🦺 What to bring/ Wear:
- Safety Gloves - This is a must! We will be selling cotton ones for $5 on the day.
- Water - It gets hot out there. Try and bring your own reusable bottles.
- Sunscreen - Even if the sun isn't out, you'll still need some.
- Bug Spray - It's not too bad but there might be a few mosquitos.
- Closed-toed shoes - It's a dirty beach after all.
- Cap/ Hat - Always good to protect yourself from the sun.

Yes! There is a water fountain near the Seven Clean Seas booth. We will show you during the safety briefing.
If you are comfortable with light drizzle, do bring your own rain jackets / umbrella and we will continue the clean up! If it gets heavier with storm, we will cancel the clean up for safety reasons.
Absolutely! Children should be supervised by an adult at ALL times. We have two locations for the clean up, one very near to the Seven Clean Seas booth and right by the beach, and one inside a mangrove area. We recommend that children under the age of 15 to stay near the booth.
