Get ready for a meaningful and fun morning at Walk with Pawpose: Guiding Light!

Join us as we embark on a 2.4 km walk to help raise funds to enable the visually impaired users of Guide Dogs Singapore.

Starting with the lush greenery of Fort Canning Park, then crossing over to the hip and happening Clarke Quay. Follow the flow of Singapore River and end off at Good Boy George bistro!

Here, we mingle, enjoy a hearty complimentary breakfast and share hilarious tail-wagging stories with our new found friends.

1. What is "Walk with Pawpose: Guiding Light"?

2. When and where is the event?

Date: 10 May 2025 | Time: 8:00AM - 11:00AM | Starting Point: Fort Canning Park (Car Park C) | Finishing Point: Good Boy George bistro

3. Who can participate?

Anyone who loves dogs and wants to support a great cause! You can join with or without a dog.

4. Can I bring my own dog?

Yes! Well-socialised and vaccinated dogs are welcome. Please bring water to hydrate your dogs and poop bags to clean up after them.

5. How much are tickets?

"Early-Bird Walker" (Limited Time): $58 | "Guiding Light Walker" (Human Ticket): $68 | "Pawsome Pup" (Dog Ticket): $28

6. What’s included in my ticket?

A limited-edition t-shirt, complimentary breakfast for humans, dog snacks and digital finisher certificate.

7. Where and when can I buy tickets?

Tickets are available right here on our EventBrite page. Ticket sales start on Saturday, 8 March 2025 at 8:00am.

8. Do I need to buy a ticket for my child?

All children below the age of 12 years can walk for FREE. However, please note that they will not receive the t-shirt, complimentary breakfast and digital finisher certificate.

9. Can I attend without a dog?

Yes! You don’t need a dog to join. Just purchase a Guiding Light Walker ticket.

10. Can I buy tickets on the day of the event?

No, tickets must be purchased in advance.

11. Are tickets refundable?

We understand that life gets in the way sometimes but please note that only 25% of your purchased tickets can be refunded up to 7 days before event. But you're free to transfer your tickets to friends/family and still support a great cause. Email the transfer details to events@barkinggoodtimes.com

12. Will there be water stations for dogs?

No but please bring water bottle and a travel/collapsible bowl for your dogs.

13. Can I bring more than one dog?

Each Pawsome Pup ticket is for one dog. If you are bringing multiple dogs, then you’ll need to purchase tickets for each dog.

14. What if my dog gets tired or overwhelmed?

There are a number of rest points along the route. However, the walk will proceed as usual and you'll need to catch up or meet us at the pit stop.

15. Is the route wheelchair & stroller friendly?

A part of the route involves a flight of stairs and some of the paths are a little narrow due to ongoing construction so it is NOT accessible for wheelchairs. If your dog/child is on a stroller then you need to carry them on the staircase.

16. What if it rains?

In case of light rain or drizzle, we will proceed as usual. Do bring an umbrella or raincoat! For heavy rain, we will notify you via WhatsApp to meet directly at Good Boy George bistro instead.

17. How long will the walk take?

Approximately 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes, depending on everyone's pace.

18. What happens after the walk?

Good Boy George bistro is our pit stop. Here we will all chill and enjoy a hearty breakfast while connecting with fellow participants and their dogs.

19. What are the requirements for dogs joining the walk?

All dogs must be well-behaved & non-aggressive, fully vaccinated, leashed at all times and comfortable with crowds and other dogs. The organiser reserves the right to remove disruptive and excessive barking dogs without any refunds.

20. How can I donate more?

We will setup a give.asia page to accept more donations for the month of May 2025. During this period, your donation will be matched dollar for dollar by Tote Board Singapore. So please donate generously!

21. How does this event support Guide Dogs Singapore?

Barking Good Times believes in bringing the dog loving community together in fun ways for a great cause. Walk with Pawpose: Guiding Light will donate a portion of the proceeds to Guide Dogs Singapore to fund training programs and services for visually impaired individuals.
