About this event

Wellness in the City is a collaboration between the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre (SCCC) and three local performing arts groups, RuanAtWorkz Musical Arts, SAtheCollective and Drum Feng to improve physical and mental wellbeing for all through a unique fusion of Chinese musical instruments with physical or meditative activities. Participants can look forward to participating in mind and body building activities such as sound bath, transformational vibrational healing or fitness drumming workout sessions. These sessions will be held between lunch hours or after work hours.


Sound Bath with RuanAtWorkz Musical Arts

Led by Mr Neil Chua, Artistic Director of RuanAtWorkz Musical Arts, the sound bath sessions offer a captivating fusion of the mellow hum of traditional Chinese Ruan, Himalayan Singing Bowls and other immersive sounds. During these sessions, participants can either sit or lie down, allowing the soothing vibrations to guide them into a tranquil state. This exquisite auditory experience is aimed at promoting deep relaxation, reducing stress, and fostering emotional and spiritual well-being.

*As the sessions are taking place during office lunch hours, a complimentary pre-packed light sandwich meal will be provided for registered participants after each session is completed. Transformational Vibrational Healing with SAtheCollective

“Transformational Vibrational Healing” is a four-session journey led by Mr Andy Chia, Artistic Director of SAtheCollective and Singapore’s pioneering Chinese flutist and healer. Through dizi, drums, and didgeridoo, Andy blends sound and energy healing rooted in Asian traditional practices to create immersive soundscapes that guide participants toward deep inner peace and connection.

Time: 12.15pm - 1.15pm

HIT! Fitness x Drumming Workout with Drum Feng

Drum Feng’s "HIT! Fitness x Drumming Workout" is a high-energy, one-hour session at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre (SCCC). Combining drumming with choreographed movements and high-intensity exercises, this dynamic fitness program enhances coordination, endurance, and strength, offering participants a unique blend of physical wellness and cultural engagement. Participants will be able to learn Chinese drums and basic drumming skills while engaging in cardio exercises, with the intensity of workouts increasing progressively over each week.

Dates: 4 Feb (Tue), 13 Feb, 20 Feb, 6 Mar, 13 Mar, 20 Mar, 27 Mar (Thursdays)
Time: 7.00pm – 8.00pm



Important things to note for participants (Please refer to the Terms and Conditions in the order form for further details):


1. Admission

  • Admission into the sessions will only be allowed for registered participants. No walk-ins will be allowed.
  • Participation in the Programme is open to all individuals who are at least 12 years of age. No admission is allowed for infants in arms and children below 12 years old.
  • Please attend the session that you have registered for. Each ticket is tied to its respective session and cannot be used interchangeably for admissions to other sessions. For example, you cannot attend session 4 if you had registered for session 1.


2. Punctuality

  • Kindly arrive at least 10 minutes before the session starts for registration.
  • The sessions will start promptly on time, and any latecomers may not be allowed to join the sessions to avoid disrupting the flow.


3. Health and Safety

  • By participating in the Programme, you acknowledge that there are inherent risks associated with physical activities. You agree to participate at your own risk and waive any liability for injury or harm that may occur during activities.
  • It is your responsibility to inform the instructor or organiser of any medical conditions, injuries, or limitations that may affect your participation in an activity, before the start of the session.
  • Please feel free to step out of the activity venue anytime for a break if necessary.


4. Dress Code

  • Please wear comfortable sportswear that allows freedom of movement.
  • Avoid skirts or revealing clothing, as you may need to lie down or perform physical movements.


5. Equipment

  • Please bring your own towel for wiping of perspiration.
  • Equipment such as yoga mats or drumming sticks will be provided. If you prefer to use your own yoga mat, you are welcome to bring them for your registered sessions.


6. Respectful Behaviour

  • All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and responsible manner during the activities. Abusive language, disruptive behaviour, or any actions that threaten the safety or well-being of others will not be tolerated.
  • The Programme Organisers reserve the right to remove any participant from an activity if such behaviour is observed.


7. Use of Mobile Phones:

  • To maintain a peaceful, conducive environment for all, please ensure your mobile phone is turned off or set to silent mode during the session.
  • If you need to answer a phone call, please step out of the activity venue to avoid disrupting the session.


8. Photography and Videography

  • No flash photography is allowed.
  • Please check with the instructors prior about photography and videography to ensure that there will be no disruption to the sessions.
  • SCCC may take photographs and videos of patrons during the session for use in our archival and publicity materials.


9. Food and Drinks:

  • No food or coloured beverages are permitted inside the activity venue.
  • You can bring your own water bottle. There are water coolers available for you to refill your water bottle.


10. Sandwiches for Afternoon Programmes:

  • A complimentary pre-packed light sandwich meal will be provided for the afternoon programmes, namely the Sound Bath and Transformative Vibrational Healing, as a courtesy by SCCC, as these sessions are taking place during office lunch hours.
  • Only registered participants will be eligible to receive the sandwich.
  • Limited to one sandwich per registered participant. The sandwich will be provided after each session is completed.
  • Sandwiches are provided by certified food businesses.
  • Sandwiches provided are not halal certified.
  • Vegetarian option is available upon request.


11. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancellation by Participant: You may cancel your registration up to 48 hours before the activity for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the activity will not be eligible for a refund.
  • Cancellation by Organisers: If an activity is cancelled by the Programme Organisers due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be provided to participants.
  • No Show: Failure to attend an activity without prior notice is considered a "no-show," and no refund will be provided.
  • Transfer of Ticket by Participant: You may transfer your ticket to another person up to 24 hours before the activity. Please notify the Programme Organisers at events@singaporeccc.org.sg of the change in participant name before the activity session begins.

《都市保健坊》是新加坡华族文化中心与三个本地表演艺术团体䪭樂房、仨和FENG鼓合作的项目,旨在通过将华族音乐与体育或冥想活动独特融合来促进所有人的健康。参与者可以选择参加心理和身体锻炼课程,例如声音疗愈、音能共振疗愈和击鼓锻炼课程。这些活动将在午餐时间和下班后举行。


䪭樂房 声音疗愈

由蔡为仲(Neil Chua)引导的声音疗愈融合了传统乐器阮、喜马拉雅颂钵和沉浸式音效,带来引人入胜的听觉体验。绝妙的声音享受能促进深度放松,提升整体健康,使参与者完全沉浸在其舒缓的益处中。

- 音能共振疗愈

仨的「音能共振疗愈」由艺术总监谢安迪(Andy Chia)领衔,他是新加坡开创性的中国笛子演奏家与疗愈师。这四节课程通过笛子、鼓和迪吉里杜管,结合亚洲传统习俗的声音与能量疗愈,来打造沉浸式音景,引导参与者达至内心深处的平和与连接。

FENG - HIT! 健身 x 鼓乐锻炼

FENG鼓所举办的一小时高能课程结合鼓乐与高强度运动,是融合了艺术与健身的全新方式。通过节奏锻炼提升协调性、耐力和体力,为学员带来独特的健身体验。

日期:2月4日、2月13日、2月20日 、3月6日、3月13日、3月20日 和 3月27日 (四)
时间:7pm - 8pm



参加者需注意的重要事项(详细信息请参见订单表中的条款和条件):


1. 入场

  • 只有提前注册的参加者可进入活动场地,不允许现场报名。
  • 所有年龄为12岁以上的公众都可参加此活动。婴儿及12岁以下儿童不得入场。
  • 请参加您已注册的课程。每张门票只能用于对应的课程,不能互换。例如,若只注册第4场课程,不能用门票参加第2场课程。


2. 准时到达

  • 请至少提前10分钟到达活动场地,以便进行注册。
  • 活动将准时开始,迟到者可能无法进入活动场地,以免打扰到活动流程。


3. 健康与安全

  • 您在参加本项目前应该明白活动存在的风险,并自愿承担风险。您如果在活动中发生任何意外或伤害,您不得要求中心或艺术团体提供赔偿。
  • 如果您有任何可能影响活动参与的身体情况或限制,请在活动开始前告知教练或活动负责人。
  • 请在必要时随时离开活动场地休息。


4. 着装要求

  • 请穿着舒适的运动服,以便自由活动。
  • 请避免穿裙子或暴露的穿着,活动可能需要躺下或进行各种肢体活动。


5. 设备

  • 请自备毛巾以擦拭汗水。
  • 中心将提供瑜伽垫、鼓棒等设备。如果您希望使用自己的瑜伽垫,也欢迎自备。


6. 尊重

  • 所有参与者应在活动中保持尊重。不允许使用粗鲁的语言、做出扰乱秩序或威胁他人安全或健康的行为。
  • 主办方有权要求不守秩序的参与者离开活动场地。


7. 手机使用

  • 为保持一个适宜的活动环境,请确保您的手机在活动期间处于关闭或调至静音模式。
  • 如果您需要接电话,请暂时离开活动场地以避免打扰他人。


8. 摄影与录像

  • 不允许使用闪光灯摄影。
  • 以避免打扰活动,请事先与活动负责人确认是否可以拍照或录像。
  • 新加坡华族文化中心可能会在活动期间拍照和录像,用于中心的档案和宣传材料。


9. 饮食

  • 不允许在活动场地内携带食物或有色饮料。
  • 您可以携带自己的水壶,场地内提供饮水机供您添水。


10. 只限下午场活动提供三明治

  • 由于下午场活动(声音疗愈及音能共振疗愈)安排在午餐时间进行,新加坡华族文化中心将免费提供参与者简便的三文治餐点。
  • 只有提前注册的参与者有资格领取三文治。
  • 每位注册的参与者限领一份三文治。三文治将在每个课程结束后提供。
  • 三文治由认证的食品公司提供。
  • 提供的三文治未获得清真认证。
  • 若需要素食选项,需提前告知。


11. 取消与退款条规

  • 参与者取消门票:您可以在活动开始前48小时取消门票,并获得全额退款。若在活动开始前48小时内取消,将不予退款。
  • 主办方取消活动:若活动因突发情况被取消,主办方将为参与者提供全额退款。
  • 未到场:未提前通知而缺席的,将视为“未到场”,且不予退款。
  • 转让门票:您可以在活动开始前24小时将门票转让给他人。请在活动开始前通过电子邮件通知主办方(events@singaporeccc.org.sg)更改参与者姓名。
