What should I bring?

A digital camera with a lens (you can try out Yongnuo e-mount lenses at the workshop if you are a Sony user - we will try to bring lenses for other brands too) | SD/CF card |Notebook & pen for notetaking | You are required to remove footwear before entering the studio so wearing of socks is advised

Should I bring my own cameras and lenses?

Accepted Answer

Yes, but we also have lenses (e-mount for Sony) for you to try. There will also be a few Sony cameras to try out. We will try to bring lenses for other brands too!

Question 3

I don't use Sony. Is that OK?

Accepted Answer

Of course! However, the lenses available for demo are for e-mount only. There are a few Sony cameras for you to try the lenses with. We will try to bring in lenses for non-Sony users.

Question 4

Do I need to pay for the workshop?

Accepted Answer

No. This workshop is FREE for entry. That being said, when you have gotten yourself a ticket, we would appreciate if you would attend the actual workshop.

Question 5

Is there any prerequisite for the workshop?

Accepted Answer

As these workshops are designed for entry-level users and beginners, we will guide you on setting up lights and settings for your cameras. However, you will need to know how to use your own cameras.

Question 6

Can I buy anything during the workshop?

Accepted Answer

No, this is a learning activity. However, you can ask any of the staff on hand where you can make the purchase of products you are interested in.

Will lunch be provided?

Yes. Halal options are available.

Question 8

There are 2 trainers. Do I get to experience both trainers' activities?

Accepted Answer

Yes, participants will be split into two groups and both groups will have an opportunity to experience both workshops on the same day.

Question 9

Can I bring a friend?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can, as long as they got a ticket too. Each ticket is valid for ONE participant only.

Question 10

Can I leave the event halfway?

Accepted Answer

You can, if you want. But you will miss your chance to win the giveaway which takes place at the end of the day :)
